Ukraine Claims It Has Proof Russia Is Sharing Intelligence With Iran

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Kyiv possesses irrefutable evidence of Moscow providing intelligence to Iran. The president made the claim in a social media post on Monday, March 23.
"First, we have irrefutable evidence that the Russians continue to provide intelligence to the Iranian regime," Zelenskyy wrote, citing a report by Oleh Ivashchenko, head of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence agency.
According to Zelenskyy, Russia is utilizing its own signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) capabilities for this purpose. He also indicated that some of the data being shared was obtained through Russia's cooperation with partners in the Middle East.
The allegation follows earlier reports from Western media. In early March, The Washington Post wrote that Russia was providing Iran with intelligence to target American troops in the Middle East. A U.S. Special envoy stated that Moscow denies facilitating Tehran in this manner.
Last week, The Wall Street Journal reported that Russia had expanded the scope of its military cooperation with Iran and its informational support for Tehran's conflict with the United States and Israel.
