Saudi Leadership Thanks Kazakh President for Support in Middle East

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Al-Kahtani, in Astana. During the talks, Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan's commitment to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

The Kazakh leader highlighted the personal contribution of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in advancing multifaceted relations between the two nations. "Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is rightly considered a strong and authoritative leader on a global scale," said President Tokayev. "His visionary and progressive strategy for Saudi Arabia's development, as well as his immense role in strengthening international stability and security, deserve the highest assessment and respect."

President Tokayev reaffirmed his invitation for Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan.

Ambassador Faisal Al-Kahtani expressed his country's firm commitment to deepening strategic partnership with Kazakhstan. He noted that recently signed agreements on mutual investment protection and promotion, as well as on establishing an interstate Coordination Council, open new opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial ties.

The diplomat separately conveyed sincere gratitude from the top leadership of Saudi Arabia for the firm and consistent support provided by President Tokayev regarding the complex situation in the Middle East. He also underscored the relevance of Kazakhstan's initiative to provide a platform for possible peace negotiations in sacred Turkistan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev once again confirmed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and all Gulf countries, stating readiness to continue supporting efforts to ensure stability, security, and sustainable development in the region.

Concluding the meeting, President Tokayev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince – Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, wishing prosperity to the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
