Tokayev Congratulates Saudi King and Crown Prince on Founding Day

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent congratulatory telegrams to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, and Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on the occasion of the Kingdom's Founding Day.

In his messages, Tokayev emphasized that Saudi Arabia is one of Kazakhstan's key partners in both the Islamic world and the Middle East. The Head of State expressed confidence that multifaceted cooperation, built on ties of friendship and mutual support, will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of both nations.

The President wished success to the King and Crown Prince in their responsible work and extended wishes for well-being and prosperity to the people of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Founding Day is celebrated annually on February 22nd. Established as an official state holiday in 2022, it commemorates the founding of the first Saudi state (the Emirate of Diriyah) by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in 1727. The day symbolizes the beginning of statehood, peace, and stability.
