Kazakhstan's National Fund for Children Credits $130.71 to Each Child

Every child under the age of 18 in Kazakhstan has received a credit of $130.71 to their account as part of the 'National Fund for Children' program.
The initiative, launched by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, aims to ensure the fair distribution of national wealth and provide equal starting opportunities for the younger generation. The savings from the National Fund are intended to serve as a reliable foundation for young Kazakhs as they take their first independent steps into adulthood.
This year, 6,918,656 children born between 2008 and 2025 inclusive are participating in the program. Consequently, each participant has been allocated $130.71 for 2026.
A total sum of $44.5 million has been designated for the 356,613 individuals who will reach adulthood in 2026.
For children enrolled since the program's inception, the total accumulated amount per child, including investment income over three years (2024-2026), now stands at $370.56.
The funds from the 'National Fund for Children' program are being used to address significant life goals. The largest portion—$19.7 million—has been allocated to improve housing conditions based on 127,446 approved applications. A further $11.9 million has been invested in children's education through 78,060 applications.
How to Check Allocations and Use Funds
The program's mechanism is fully digitalized and designed for maximum transparency. Parents can verify their child's participation and savings balance through several channels:
- On the dedicated website kids.enpf.kz (using the child's IIN).
- In their personal account on the egov.kz portal.
- Via mobile applications from Halyk Bank, Kaspi.kz, and Bcc.kz.
A crucial note: Upon turning 18, the accumulated funds are transferred to a special account with the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (ENPF). From that point onward, only the recipient can access and view their savings using a digital signature (EDS).
To direct these funds toward housing or education expenses, recipients simply need to submit an application through authorized partner banks. In mid-2025, Bank CenterCredit joined Otbasy Bank and Halyk Bank as a new partner in the program, expanding options available to young citizens.
