Kazakh and Indonesian Diplomats Hold Talks in Jakarta on Bilateral Cooperation

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Alibek Bakayev, has concluded a working visit to the capital of Indonesia.
During his stay in Jakarta, Bakayev held meetings with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Anis Matta and the Director General for Multilateral Cooperation at Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tri Tharyat.
The diplomats engaged in substantive discussions on a broad range of issues concerning the development of bilateral relations. Key topics included enhancing cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
A significant portion of the talks was dedicated to strengthening collaboration within international organizations. The parties focused on joint work within the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Specific attention was given to matters concerning Palestine, considering their shared participation in the Peace Council and International Stabilization Forces. Water-related issues and mutual support for international initiatives were also on the agenda.
The sides agreed to maintain close interaction on these key points of the international agenda moving forward.
