Kazakh President Tokayev to Visit Turkey for Diplomatic Forum and Bilateral Talks

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan will pay a working visit to Turkey on April 17, following an invitation from his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The key event of the visit will be the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. President Tokayev is scheduled to participate in the forum's opening ceremony and deliver a speech during a panel session. The forum is an annual high-level international platform that brings together political leaders, diplomats, experts, as well as representatives from business, media, and civil society.

In addition to the multilateral engagement, the program includes a series of bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey.

The visit follows a recent meeting in Astana where President Tokayev received Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. During that meeting, Yılmaz conveyed warm greetings from President Erdogan and expressed Turkey's high regard for the upcoming visit and its participation in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Turkistan.
