Kazakh President Tokaev Receives Ramadan Greetings from Global Leaders

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received a stream of congratulatory messages from foreign leaders and international organizations marking the start of the holy Muslim month of Ramadan.

Among the first to send their greetings were Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and monarchs from the Arab world. The Kazakh leader was also congratulated by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the top leadership of the United Arab Emirates.

Warm words for Tokayev were also conveyed by the presidents of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas. The continuing flow of messages to the Akorda presidential palace underscores Kazakhstan's respectful diplomatic relations with the Islamic world.
