Uzbek and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Discuss Drone Attack on Nakhchivan

The Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation to discuss the recent security situation in the region.

During the call, Minister Bayramov provided detailed information about an incident involving an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The attack reportedly resulted in civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.

Both ministers expressed serious concern over these attacks. They emphasized that such actions are unacceptable as they contravene the principles of international law and violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of another state.
