Kazakhstan Evacuates Over 4,600 Citizens from Middle East

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in coordination with other government agencies and domestic and foreign airlines, continues its operation to evacuate Kazakh citizens from Middle Eastern countries.

As of March 7, a total of 27 flights have been completed since the escalation began in the region, successfully transporting 4,659 passengers back to Kazakhstan.

On March 5 and 6 alone, four airlines operated 15 flights that evacuated 2,549 people. Air Astana executed three flights on the Jeddah–Atyrau–Almaty route. SCAT Airlines completed one flight from Muscat to Almaty.

FlyDubai operated five flights from Dubai to Almaty and two flights to Astana. Additionally, Air Arabia carried out four flights on the Sharjah–Almaty route.

The evacuation efforts for Kazakh nationals are ongoing and are being adjusted according to the current situation in the region.
