Representatives from the Forensic Examination Center of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Justice participated in a significant meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.

The agreement establishes the Turkic Forensic Science Network (TFSN). The network's primary objectives are to foster cooperation and coordination among its members. It aims to enhance modern forensic practices, strengthen scientific capabilities, and expand institutional interaction across the participating nations.

The creation of TFSN is based on the Astana Declaration. This foundational document was adopted on September 9, 2024, in Astana during the first meeting of justice ministers from the Organization of Turkic States.
