Representatives from the Forensic Examination Center of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Justice participated in a significant meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan. The event culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
The signatories to the memorandum include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The agreement establishes the Turkic Forensic Science Network (TFSN).
The primary goal of the TFSN is to foster cooperation and coordination among its members. The network aims to enhance modern forensic practices, strengthen scientific capacity, and expand institutional interaction across the participating nations.
The creation of this network is based on the Astana Declaration. This foundational document was adopted on September 9, 2024, in Astana during the first meeting of justice ministers from the Organization of Turkic States.
