The Government of Kazakhstan has approved the signing of an investment agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Construction and Ultradecor Trading Kazakhstan LLP for the construction of a wood processing plant in the North Kazakhstan Region. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

The project, valued at 70 billion tenge, is scheduled for implementation between 2026 and 2028. Its launch is expected to create at least 160 permanent jobs, expand domestic timber processing, increase output of finished products, and strengthen the region's industrial capacity. The plant's annual production capacity is projected to be approximately 600 cubic meters of particleboard (chipboard) and 20 million square meters of laminated particleboard (Laminated Chipboard).

The agreement mandates the use of goods, raw materials, works, and services from Kazakhstani producers. The investor is obligated to supply no less than 50% of its finished products to the domestic market. Once the enterprise reaches 80% of its design capacity, exports of domestic finished products are projected to reach up to 60 thousand cubic meters per year.

The agreement also includes specific obligations for social support in the region. Furthermore, the investor commits to implementing a system for continuous personnel training and ensuring employee skills development.

The project's realization will contribute to developing the wood processing industry, increasing local content, expanding employment opportunities, and strengthening the export potential of Kazakhstan's manufacturing sector.
