Uzbekistan's international reserves have reached a historic high of $77 billion, according to the latest data. This marks an increase of $2 billion over the past month.
The growth is primarily attributed to a rise in the value of the country's gold holdings. The physical volume of gold in the reserves now stands at 13.1 million troy ounces, valued at approximately $67.6 billion.
The currency component of the reserves amounts to $8.8 billion. In February, the total volume of gold and currency reserves was reported at $75 billion.
