Uzbek FM Attends Informal Meeting of Turkic States' Foreign Ministers

On March 7, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, took part in an informal gathering of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The head of Uzbekistan's diplomatic service expressed gratitude to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan for organizing the meeting. Saidov noted the timeliness of the discussions given the current international challenges facing member nations.

The talks focused on escalating threats to regional and global security. Participants also emphasized the critical importance of strengthening solidarity and coordination among OTS countries.

Uzbekistan underscored its support for deepening practical cooperation within the organization. The country advocates for advancing key initiatives aimed at ensuring stability, enhancing connectivity, and promoting sustainable development across the region.
