Uzbek FM Attends Informal Meeting of Turkic States' Foreign Ministers Council

On March 7, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, participated in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The head of Uzbekistan's diplomatic service expressed gratitude to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan for organizing the gathering. Saidov noted the timeliness of the discussions given the current international challenges.

According to Saidov, the talks focused on growing threats to regional and global security. The importance of strengthening solidarity and coordination among member states was a central theme.

Uzbekistan emphasized its support for deepening practical cooperation within the organization. The country also backs key initiatives aimed at ensuring stability, enhancing connectivity, and promoting sustainable development across the region.
