@TengriNews
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
The leaders emphasized that the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East poses a serious threat not only to regional but also to global security and stability.
They noted with regret that attacks on the territories of countries not involved in the conflict are continuing at a time when the Islamic Ummah should demonstrate mutual respect and patience more than ever.
Tokayev expressed gratitude for the assistance of the Saudi government in evacuating Kazakh citizens back to their homeland.
In turn, the Crown Prince thanked the President of Kazakhstan for his words of support and conveyed best wishes to the Kazakh people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The parties agreed to maintain regular political dialogue to bring bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level and coordinate joint efforts on the international stage.
