Tokayev Attends Opening of Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev participated in the official opening ceremony of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey.

The event was held on Friday, April 17. The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, delivered a speech during the ceremony.

The forum has gathered a significant number of international leaders. Among the participants are President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, President of Slovenia Natasa Pirc Musar, and President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova.

Other heads of state and government in attendance include President of Moldova Maia Sandu, President of Syria Ahmed Al-Sharaa, President of Burundi Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Felix Tshisekedi, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic, and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

The Antalya Diplomatic Forum is an annual high-level international discussion platform. It brings together political leaders, diplomats, experts, as well as representatives from business circles, media outlets, and civil society.

The forum also serves as an effective platform for bilateral and multilateral contacts, political consultations, and informal diplomacy.
