President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has enacted a series of diplomatic appointments, naming new ambassadors for the Republic of Kazakhstan to two Asian nations.

By presidential decree, Aset Zhenisuly Isenali has been appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea.

In a separate move, Margulan Bakytuly Baimukhan, who currently serves as Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), has been assigned an additional role. He is now appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on a concurrent basis.

The reshuffle also included a dismissal. By another presidential decree, Nurgali Almasbayevich Arystanov was relieved of his duties as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea.
