Kazakh President Tokayev Awards State Honors to Scientists and Educators

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree awarding state honors to a group of scientists and educators. The awards recognize significant contributions to science and the development of higher education in the country.

The Order of "Parasat" was conferred upon two distinguished academics: Kulash Kerimbekovna Duisekova, a professor at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Sarsenbek Aliakbaruly Montaev, head of a laboratory at Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University.

Six individuals received the Order of "Kurmet". The honorees are: Galymzhan Mustakhimuly Duisen, Deputy Director General of the R.B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies; Yerzhan Itemenovich Kuldeev, Vice-Rector of K.I. Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University; Viktor Karlovich Merts and Mukhit Barmakuly Orynbaev, both chief research fellows at the Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems; Nikolai Georgievich Prikhodko, chief research fellow at the Institute for Combustion Problems; and Nesipbai Kuandykovich Tusupbayev, head of a laboratory at the Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation.

The "Eren Enbegi Ushin" Medal was awarded to twenty scientists and university staff. The list includes Bebit Bolatgazievich Abdikenov, Director of Astana IT University; Aidar Aidynovich Argynghazinov, an associate professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President; Didar Galymovich Batryshev, a research fellow at Kazakhstan-British Technical University; Anargul Sarsenbaevna Belgibayeva, a professor at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University; and Darin Boranbaevich Borgyekov, Director of the Astana branch of the Institute of Nuclear Physics.

Other recipients are Dmitry Sergeyevich Dogadkin, an engineer-researcher at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University; Asiya Amerkanovna Yermukhambetova, Chairperson of the Alliance of Young Scientists; Askar Bagdatovich Kasymov, a professor at Shakarim University; Bulat Nurlyanovich Kenesov, a professor at the National Academy of Sciences under the President; Guldarshin Spanovna Konkina, a professor at Ybyrai Altynsarin Arkalyk Pedagogical University; Sergei Sergeyevich Lutai, senior lecturer at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University; Yerbolat Nysanalyuly Makhametov, head of a laboratory at Zh. Abishev Chemical-Metallurgical Institute branch.

The medal was also awarded to Anastasia Viktorovna Perfilyeva, associate professor at the Institute of Genetics and Physiology; Yerkeblan Muratovich Tazhbayev, Vice-Rector for Board Affairs at Ye.A. Buketov Karaganda National Research University; Zhandos Turegulovich Tauanov, Chairman of the Youth Council at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Zhenisbek Muratbekuly Tolen head of a scientific center at the National Academy under President Symbat Kenzhebekovich Ukin associate professor Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University Elbek Bakhitovich Utepov professor L.N Gumilyev Eurasian National University Dmitry Igorevich Shlimas teacher-researcher L.N Gumilyev Eurasian National Univeristy

The honorary title "Kazakhstan's Distinguished Worker" was bestowed upon Amangeldy Zhumagaliyevich Omarov President International Transport Humanitarian Univeristy
