Uzbek and Kuwaiti Leaders Discuss Middle East Escalation in Phone Call

On March 4, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The leaders expressed serious concern over the escalation of the situation in the Middle East and strikes on various infrastructure facilities in the country. They emphasized that such actions contradict the principles of international law, and any actions threatening peace and public safety must be stopped immediately. Uzbekistan confirmed its solidarity with the friendly people of Kuwait during this challenging period.

President Mirziyoyev thanked the Kuwaiti side for providing practical assistance to Uzbek citizens in Kuwait and conveyed warm greetings to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In turn, Crown Prince Sabah expressed gratitude to the leader of Uzbekistan for his friendly support and solidarity shown during a difficult time.
