Iran Denies Missile Attacks on Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Cyprus

Iran's Foreign Ministry has officially denied reports of missile attacks launched from its territory against Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Cyprus. Spokesman Ismail Bagheri made the statement during a press briefing, categorically refuting the allegations.
"Regarding Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Cyprus, the General Staff of the Armed Forces has clearly and officially stated that there have been no such launches of rockets from Iranian territory or by the armed forces," Bagheri was quoted as saying by Iranian media.
Bagheri emphasized that Iran's current focus remains squarely on defense and delivering a "crushing response" to its adversaries. "Military aggression continues. Under the current conditions, it is not very appropriate to talk about anything unrelated to defense and a crushing response to the enemy," he stated.
When questioned about the potential for ceasefire negotiations with the United States and Israel, the spokesman reiterated that discussing anything other than Iran's retaliatory measures is currently inappropriate.
The official also accused the United States of having ulterior motives in the region. "Regarding what the goal of the United States is, there is no doubt; until now, no one has doubted that the goal of the United States is to gain access to oil resources," Bagheri claimed.
The denials come amid heightened regional tensions. The United States and Israel reportedly began striking targets inside Iran, including Tehran, on February 28. Iran has been conducting retaliatory strikes against Israeli territory and US military assets in the Middle East in response.
