Speaker of Mazhilis Yerlan Koshanov Votes in Constitutional Referendum

Yerlan Koshanov, the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, has cast his vote in the nationwide referendum on adopting a new Constitution. He voted at polling station No. 128, located in the building of the National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy," accompanied by his wife.

"The mood is good. I think all Kazakh citizens are in a good, festive mood today. This is an important day. The people of Kazakhstan must decide whether there will be a new Constitution or not. I am confident that March 15 will occupy a special place in the history of our country. I have personally made my choice. I urge all Kazakh citizens to come to the polling stations and fulfill their civic duty," Koshanov stated.

The referendum on the new Constitution is being held across Kazakhstan on March 15 from 07:00 to 20:00 local time, unless specific territorial commissions set different hours for voters' convenience.

The ballot contains a single question: "Do you accept the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the draft of which was published in mass media on February 12, 2026?"
