@UlysMedia
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has reported its operational results for 2025, highlighting a significant volume of oil transported and an excellent safety record. The company's personnel and contractors worked over 14.2 million hours without any injuries or incidents, while the vehicle fleet covered more than 33 million kilometers without accidents.
In total, the Tengiz–Novorossiysk pipeline system transported 70.52 million tons of crude oil last year. The primary sources of this oil were Kazakhstan's major fields: Tengiz contributed 36.6 million tons, Karachaganak supplied 9.2 million tons, and Kashagan provided 17 million tons.
The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest energy projects in the CIS region. Stretching 1,511 kilometers from Tengiz to the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, it handles over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan's export oil, as well as crude from Russian fields, including those in the Caspian region.
The consortium's shareholder structure includes the Russian Federation (24%), KazMunayGas (19%), Chevron (15%), LUKOIL (12.5%), and several other international energy companies with smaller stakes.
