@UlysMedia
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has announced its operational results for 2025, highlighting significant safety achievements alongside substantial oil transportation volumes. Personnel from CPC and its contractors worked a total of 14.2 million hours without any injuries or incidents, while the vehicle fleet covered over 33 million kilometers without a single traffic accident.
Over the course of the year, the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system transported 70.52 million tons of crude oil. A significant portion of this volume originated from Kazakhstan's major fields. Specifically, the system received 36.6 million tons from the Tengiz field, 9.2 million tons from Karachaganak, and 17 million tons from Kashagan.
The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest energy sector projects within the CIS region. The main Tengiz-Novorossiysk trunk line spans 1,511 kilometers and serves as a critical export route, handling more than two-thirds of all Kazakh export oil, in addition to crude from Russian fields, including those in the Caspian region.
The consortium's shareholder structure includes: the Russian Federation (24%), M.K. "KTK Company" LLC (7%), JSC NC "KazMunayGas" (19%), Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC (1.75%), Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company (15%), LUKOIL International GmbH (12.5%), Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company (7.5%), Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited (7.5%), BG Overseas Holdings Limited (2%), Eni International N.A.
