Uzbek and Kazakh Leaders to Hold Talks in Bukhara

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in the historic city of Bukhara, where he will host his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for a working visit on April 11.
The centerpiece of the visit will be high-level negotiations focused on advancing the bilateral relationship. The leaders are set to discuss strengthening political dialogue and expanding ties between parliaments, governments, and regions of the two nations.
A significant portion of the talks will be dedicated to economic cooperation. The agenda includes boosting trade turnover, deepening industrial collaboration, and implementing joint projects in key sectors such as transport, energy, and water ecology.
Cultural and humanitarian exchanges are also slated for discussion. Furthermore, the presidents will exchange views on pressing international and regional issues.
The official program extends beyond the negotiating table. It includes a joint tour of historical monuments in Bukhara, visits to local industrial enterprises, and an exhibition of regional products.
During his stay in Bukhara, President Mirziyoyev is also scheduled to review the socio-economic development progress of the Bukhara region and examine promising investment projects underway there.
