Aibek Dadebay, the Head of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan, has cast his vote in the nationwide referendum on a new draft Constitution.

Dadebay voted at polling station No. 51, located in the Palace of Schoolchildren.

Earlier on Sunday, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, speakers of both chambers of Parliament (the Senate and the Mazhilis), and members of the Cabinet also participated in the vote.

As of 2:00 PM local time, preliminary voter turnout was reported at 51.93 percent. The Central Election Commission has officially recognized the referendum as valid based on this turnout.

The referendum is being held across Kazakhstan on March 15. Polling stations are generally open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, though local territorial commissions may adjust these hours for citizens' convenience.

The ballot contains a single question: "Do you accept the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the draft of which was published in mass media on February 12, 2026?"
