Russia and Uzbekistan Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

On April 10, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin held talks with Botirjon Asadov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Russia.

The meeting focused on issues of bilateral cooperation in the context of upcoming high-level interstate contacts. The diplomats also discussed current aspects of interaction between their foreign policy departments.

The exchange of views confirmed the mutual commitment to further strengthening relations between Russia and Uzbekistan. Both sides emphasized that this partnership is based on the principles of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
