In light of the ongoing regional tensions surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued a recommendation for its citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to Iran until the situation stabilizes.
The ministry strongly advises Kazakh citizens currently in Iran to consider leaving the country. Those who remain are urged to exercise heightened vigilance, follow safety precautions, monitor news developments closely, and strictly adhere to all instructions from local authorities.
Furthermore, Kazakh nationals are called upon to carefully weigh their travel plans to any countries in the Middle East, taking into account the current volatile situation and its potential for rapid escalation.
Kazakhstan's diplomatic missions in Iran continue to operate as usual. To provide timely assistance and information, dedicated communication channels have been established for Kazakh citizens in Iran and their relatives back home.
