Kazakhstan Advises Citizens Against Travel to Iran Amid Regional Tensions

In light of the ongoing tense situation surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan is recommending its citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to Iran until conditions stabilize.
The ministry advises Kazakh citizens currently in Iran to leave the country. Those who remain are urged to exercise heightened security measures, maintain vigilance and caution, follow news developments closely, and strictly adhere to instructions from local authorities.
Furthermore, Kazakh nationals are called upon to carefully consider travel plans to Middle Eastern countries, taking into account the current volatile situation and its potential for rapid escalation.
Kazakhstan's diplomatic missions in Iran continue to operate as usual. Contact lines have been established for Kazakh citizens in Iran and their relatives back home seeking additional or urgent information.
