President Tokayev Awards Kazakh Women with State Honors for National Development

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree awarding state honors to a wide range of Kazakhstani women. The awards recognize their contributions to public service, socio-economic and cultural development, and exemplary military and civil duty.

The highest honor, the Order of "Eңbek Daңқy" (Glory of Labor) First Class, was awarded to Shakira Idrisova, head of a private farm in the Zhetisu region. The Order "Barys" Third Class was conferred upon Daniya Espayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Mazhilis (the lower house of Parliament).

Several women received the Order "Aibyn" Second Class named after Bauyrzhan Momyshuly for their service in national security and emergency response. These include Ayagul Umurzakova, a senior operative in the National Security Committee, and Aigerim Raimkulova, head of a department at the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The honorary title "Honored Worker of Kazakhstan" was bestowed upon 12 individuals. Among them are Olga Perepechina, Deputy Chairman of the Senate; Snezanna Imasheva and Yekaterina Smyshlyaeva, Mazhilis deputies; Gaziza Amanbai, director of a gymnasium in Almaty; and artists including Rize Kanatkyzy from Astana Ballet and Gauhar Umirzakova from the AlmaTime group.

The title "Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan" was awarded to chemistry teacher Tatyana Belousova from Almaty and Mazhilis deputy Irina Smirnova.

The Order "Parasat" was presented to seven recipients for achievements in arts, sports, science, and education. Notable awardees include singer Karina Abdullina, writer Kamal Alpeisova, athlete Kristina Shumekova, singer Zhenis Iskakova, and medical researcher Zauresh Smagulova.

Other significant awards included the Order "El Birligi" (National Unity) to Rufina Usanova for cultural work and the Order "Kұrmet" (Respect) to 22 women from diverse fields such as healthcare, postal services, judiciary, education, culture, industry, and state security.

The Order "Eңbek Daңқy" Third Class honored five women in agriculture and industry. The Medal "For Combat Valor" was awarded to three law enforcement officers and a military unit commander for their service.

Finally, the Medal "For Distinguished Labor" recognized 13 individuals including ballet artist Kanon Suzuki from Astana Ballet. The Medal "Shapagat" (Mercy) was awarded to teacher Maria Surina and student Aida Kadyne.
