Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has indicated that future negotiations aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict should be held in Europe. He expressed this view while commenting on the recent diplomatic talks.

"I think it was good that we held a trilateral meeting in Switzerland. We respect and value our partners from the Middle East and other countries," Zelenskyy stated. "However, in my opinion, if the war is taking place in Europe, then we should find a location in Europe."

The President specifically named Switzerland as the likely host for the upcoming fourth round of discussions. "I want to emphasize that the next meeting will also be in Switzerland. This is the information I have as of today. Of course, our group will return, and I will have more detailed information," he added.

This statement follows a recent round of talks held this week in Geneva. The negotiations are complex, with Moscow reportedly insisting on control over approximately 20% of the eastern part of Donetsk region. Discussions may also encompass issues surrounding the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, though territorial questions remain among the most challenging items on the agenda.
