Public Councils Express Support for Kazakhstan's New Constitution Draft

A meeting of the Coordination Center of Public Councils under the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan was held in Astana. The event brought together representatives from the Coordination Center itself, chairpersons of public councils at both the republican and regional levels, and delegates from authorized state bodies.

The central topic of discussion was the draft text of a new Constitution for the country. Particular focus was placed on issues related to expanding civic participation in shaping state policy. Participants in the meeting voiced their support for the proposed Basic Law.
