Kuwait's New Ambassador to Kazakhstan Presents Credentials

On April 14, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev held a meeting in Astana with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Kazakhstan, Adel Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Ghunaiman.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Ghunaiman presented copies of his credentials. He confirmed his commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations and deepening collaboration within international organizations.
In turn, Deputy Minister Bakayev congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to this responsible post. He expressed confidence that Al-Ghunaiman's mission would contribute to the further development of traditionally friendly and trust-based relations between Kazakhstan and Kuwait.
The parties discussed ways to intensify political dialogue and strengthen trade, economic, and investment partnerships. The conversation also covered expanding cooperation in agriculture and digitalization.
Furthermore, an exchange of views took place on current issues of regional and global importance, including the situation in the Middle East.
