Kazakh Ambassador Presents Credentials to Rwandan President Paul Kagame

Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Rwanda, Barlybay Sadykov, has officially presented his credentials to Rwandan President Paul Kagame during a formal ceremony in Kigali.
During the event, Ambassador Sadykov emphasized that Astana places special importance on strengthening bilateral relations. He highlighted the focus on intensifying political dialogue and enhancing cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres.
The discussions notably centered on the outcomes of President Kagame's landmark official visit to Kazakhstan from May 27-29, 2025. The ambassador stated that the agreements reached during that visit have laid a solid foundation for elevating the bilateral partnership to a qualitatively new level.
In response, President Kagame affirmed that Kazakhstan is an important and promising partner for Rwanda. He expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including digitalization, mining, agriculture, and other fields. The Rwandan leader warmly recalled his negotiations with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana and confirmed his commitment to implementing joint projects.
President Kagame congratulated the Kazakh diplomat on his official assumption of duties and wished him success in further strengthening ties between the two nations. He also expressed gratitude to President Tokayev for his dedication to realizing the agreements made during the visit to Kazakhstan and conveyed warm wishes to the leadership and people of Kazakhstan.
