Iran's military has declared it will prevent the export of "a single liter of oil" from the region through the Strait of Hormuz, targeting what it calls "enemies and their partners." A senior commander stated that Iranian forces have complete control over the strategic waterway.

Sardar Naini, a representative of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), made the announcement in an interview with the Tasnim news agency. He cited ongoing aggression by the U.S. Military and what he termed the "Zionist regime" against Iran's people and infrastructure as the reason for the blockade threat.

Naini claimed that American warships and aircraft are being kept more than 1,000 kilometers away from Iran due to threats posed by Iranian missiles and drones. He added that U.S. And Israeli forces in the region are forced to hide in cities and hotels.

The IRGC representative asserted that Iran's armed forces are now "determining the timeline for ending this conflict" and are prepared to confront the U.S. Aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford in the Strait of Hormuz.

This stark warning follows recent comments from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed that a war with Iran was nearly over. "I think the war is practically finished," Trump stated, adding that Tehran allegedly has no fleet, no communication systems, and no air force.

Trump also said Washington had "significantly outpaced" initial predictions that such a conflict would last four to five weeks but conceded that they had "not yet defeated Iran enough." The escalating rhetoric highlights renewed tensions over one of the world's most critical oil transit chokepoints.
