Mud Volcano Erupts in Colombia, Prompting Evacuations and Road Damage

A powerful mud volcano eruption has occurred in Colombia, leading to evacuations in nearby areas. The incident took place in the municipality of San Juan de Urabá, located in the department of Antioquia.
Dramatic footage from the scene shows a massive column of mud and debris erupting from the volcano's vent, reaching a significant height into the air. The eruption happened close to a municipal water treatment plant and residential buildings.
Authorities have confirmed that no injuries have been reported as a result of the event. However, damage has been recorded on the road leading to the Siete Vueltas area.
Witnesses on social media have also reported ground fractures and cracked asphalt several kilometers away from the eruption site. Emergency services are currently on-site, assessing the full extent of the damage and continuing their response efforts.
