Uzbekistan to Evacuate Citizens from Persian Gulf States on Presidential Order

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has issued a directive to organize the evacuation of the country's citizens currently residing in states around the Persian Gulf. The order was formally communicated to Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.

The Cabinet of Ministers convened a video conference on March 2nd to outline specific measures for ensuring a safe and orderly repatriation process. The primary focus of the meeting was to coordinate the return of Uzbek nationals to their homeland.

All airlines registered in Uzbekistan have been instructed to take immediate action to facilitate the return of these citizens. A key logistical task involves organizing special repatriation flights on the Jeddah–Tashkent route.
