Uzbek and Kuwaiti Leaders Discuss Middle East Escalation, Condemn Attacks

On March 4th, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The leaders expressed serious concern over the escalating situation in the Middle East and recent strikes on various infrastructure facilities. They emphasized that such actions contradict the principles of international law. Any activities posing a threat to peace and public safety must be stopped immediately. Uzbekistan reaffirmed its solidarity with the friendly people of Kuwait during this challenging period.

President Mirziyoyev thanked the Kuwaiti side for the practical assistance provided to Uzbek citizens residing in Kuwait. He also conveyed warm greetings to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In turn, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid expressed gratitude to the Uzbek leader for the friendly support and solidarity shown during this difficult time.
