In 2025, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) achieved a significant safety milestone, with its personnel and contractors working over 14.2 million hours without any injuries or incidents. The consortium's vehicle fleet also surpassed 33 million kilometers of accident-free travel.

The operational results for the year were equally impressive. A total of 70.52 million tons of oil was transported through the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system during 2025. This volume included substantial contributions from major Kazakhstani fields: the Tengiz field supplied 36.6 million tons, Karachaganak provided 9.2 million tons, and Kashagan contributed 17 million tons to the system.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest energy projects in the CIS region. Stretching 1,511 kilometers from Tengiz to the Russian port of Novorossiysk, this critical infrastructure transports more than two-thirds of all Kazakhstan's export oil, along with crude from Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Sea.

The consortium's shareholder structure reflects its international character. Key stakeholders include the Russian Federation (24%), KazMunayGas (19%), Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company (15%), LUKOIL International GmbH (12.5%), Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company (7.5%), Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited (7.5%), MК "КТК Компани" (7%), with smaller shares held by BG Overseas Holdings Limited, Eni International N.A., Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC, and Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC.
