Kazakhstan has joined a coalition of nations pledging over $7 billion in humanitarian and stabilization aid for the Gaza Strip, a major financial commitment announced alongside several Middle Eastern and Central Asian states.

The donor group includes Azerbaijan, the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait. In a separate but parallel move, the United States has committed $10 billion to support a new international body tasked with aid and stabilization efforts in the region, bringing the total announced funding for the Palestinian enclave to a colossal sum.

Beyond these direct state contributions, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs is mobilizing an additional $2 billion. Japan was specifically highlighted for preparing a large-scale campaign to help raise these funds.

Alongside the financial package, a military component for the mission is under discussion. Previous reports indicated the potential deployment of Kazakh military personnel to Gaza as part of an international security force, a matter being developed within the framework of the so-called Peace Council.
