Kazakhstan Discusses Agricultural Cooperation at Italy-Central Asia Forum

A high-level business forum titled "Italy – Central Asia (C5) + Azerbaijan" was held in Tashkent, serving as a key platform to strengthen agricultural cooperation, attract investment, and discuss the implementation of advanced technologies.

The event brought together representatives from business circles, investors, and experts from Italy, Central Asian nations, and Azerbaijan. Kazakhstan's delegation was led by Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhegaliuly.

Discussions focused on pivotal areas for the development of the agricultural sector. Key topics included the adoption of innovative solutions, the sustainable use of natural resources, and strategies for adapting to climate change.

A special emphasis was placed on expanding international collaboration, sharing expertise, and attracting investments. These efforts are seen as crucial for fostering resilient agro-ecosystems and enhancing food security across the region.

The forum concluded with the adoption of a final communiqué. This document formalizes the agreements reached and outlines future steps for deepening cooperation in the agri-food sector among the participating countries.
