During the continuation of his official visit to China, Kazakhstan's Minister of Trade and Integration, Arman Shakkaliev, held a series of high-level meetings in Beijing. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two nations.

The minister met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Wentao, who serves as the Minister of Commerce. The officials reviewed the current state of trade relations and identified promising areas for future collaboration. A key topic was increasing the volume of Kazakh agricultural exports to China.

In a separate meeting with Zhang Guangjun, Vice Minister of Science and Technology, the parties discussed deepening scientific and technical partnerships. The conversation centered on joint projects in agriculture, green energy, and digitalization.

Minister Shakkaliev also engaged with representatives from major Chinese corporations in the logistics sector. The talks addressed enhancing transport connectivity along transcontinental routes and developing multimodal logistics hubs within Kazakhstan.

The visit underscores a mutual commitment to elevating strategic partnership to a new level. Both sides expressed confidence that the agreements reached will give significant impetus to trade growth and investment flows.
