Kazakhstan and Indonesia Strengthen Ties During Deputy FM's Jakarta Visit

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Alibek Bakayev, has concluded a working visit to Jakarta, Indonesia. During his stay, he held substantive talks with senior Indonesian diplomats.

Bakayev met with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Anis Matta and the Director General for Multilateral Cooperation at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tri Tharyat. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations across multiple sectors.

The officials explored avenues for deeper cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. A significant part of the dialogue was dedicated to coordinating efforts on the international stage.

Strengthening collaboration within the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was a key topic. The parties also exchanged views on issues related to Palestine, considering their joint participation in peacekeeping missions, water security matters, and mutual support for international initiatives.

Both sides agreed to maintain close interaction on these outlined points of the global agenda, reaffirming their commitment to a constructive partnership.
