The Government of Kazakhstan has prepared a draft resolution to sign an agreement with the Republic of Indonesia on the mutual promotion and protection of investments.
The document, titled "On Signing the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments," is currently available for public review.
This bilateral agreement aims to create a stable legal framework for investors from both nations. By establishing clear rules, it seeks to reduce risks and encourage capital flows between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.
The signing of such an agreement is a standard international practice to foster economic cooperation. It typically includes provisions on fair treatment, protection from expropriation, and mechanisms for resolving disputes between investors and states.
The draft resolution marks another step in strengthening economic ties between Central Asia and Southeast Asia, facilitating a more predictable environment for business partnerships.
