Kazakh Blogger Declared Wanted for Alleged Illegal Online Casino Operation

A wanted notice for Kazakh blogger Ilyar Yuvashev has been published on the official portal of legal statistics and special records. He was declared wanted earlier this week.

According to the notice, the search case against the blogger was registered in Astana. The Financial Monitoring Agency (FMA) initiated the proceedings, and the search is being conducted by the capital's Department of Economic Investigations of the FMA.

The blogger, known online as "Ilyarchik" (andersonchik1), is wanted internationally on suspicion of aiding in organizing an illegal online casino that operated without a license in Kazakhstan.

The agency reports that Ilyar Yuvashev Salavatovich participated in creating and managing a network of online casinos, including the resource mellstroy.game, during 2024–2025.

To legalize financial flows and conceal operations, 22 shell companies were registered. POS terminals and electronic payment instruments were also used, through which more than 3.6 billion tenge was received from players.
