Israeli airstrikes hit the Gaza Strip on the third day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, targeting the Jabalia refugee camp in the north and the Kizan an-Najjar area in the south.

According to local sources, Israeli attacks since the declaration of a ceasefire regime have now killed 614 people and wounded more than 1,640. The Israeli military confirmed one incident, stating it had eliminated a person who crossed the separation line and approached their positions, posing an immediate threat.

The army command emphasized it would continue to act against any such threats. These events unfold amid international diplomatic efforts to resolve the regional situation.

Just two days earlier, the first meeting of the "Peace Council", initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump, was held. The meeting discussed rebuilding Gaza's destroyed infrastructure, security, and the future governance system for the territory.

Donald Trump stated that nine countries are ready to allocate $7 billion for the reconstruction of the sector, with the U.S. pledging an additional $10 billion.

However, experts estimate the total funds needed for full reconstruction at approximately $70 billion.
