More than ten thousand people have been repatriated to Kazakhstan from the Middle East following a significant escalation of tensions in the region. The evacuation operation involved dozens of flights organized by the country's authorities.

Since the start of the crisis, a total of 61 flights have been completed, transporting 10,033 passengers back to their homeland. The airlift has been a coordinated effort to ensure the safe return of Kazakh citizens.

The evacuation flights are being operated by several airlines, including Air Astana, SCAT, FlyDubai, and Air Arabia. These aircraft are departing from major hubs across the Middle East such as Dubai, Sharjah, Jeddah, Medina, and Muscat.

The destinations within Kazakhstan include its largest cities and key regional centers: Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, and Shymkent. This multi-point arrival strategy helps in efficiently processing returning citizens across different parts of the country.

The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Transport is leading the ongoing operation. It is working in close coordination with other relevant state bodies as well as with both domestic and foreign airline carriers to continue evacuating citizens from the affected region.
