Su-30SM Fighter Jet Crashes in Karaganda Region, Pilots Survive

A Su-30SM fighter jet crashed in the Karaganda region. The crew of the aircraft successfully ejected from the plane and survived the incident.
The pilots are alive and their lives are not in danger. They are currently under the observation of medical specialists.
The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan confirmed that the crash site has been cordoned off. Officials stated there is no threat to the local population or infrastructure from the incident.
A special commission has been established to investigate the causes and circumstances of the crash. The commission is headed by the chief of the flight safety department and includes specialized experts from aviation services.
The Su-30SM is a two-seat, multirole fighter classified as a 4++ generation aircraft. It is designed to engage both aerial and ground (or surface) targets using a wide range of guided and unguided weapons, including air-to-air and air-to-surface munitions.
