Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has held separate telephone discussions with the foreign ministers of Russia, Egypt, and Qatar to exchange views on recent regional and international developments, particularly concerning ongoing nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States.

The talks between Tehran and Washington have progressed through two rounds held in Oman and Switzerland since February, facilitated by Omani mediation. Consultations with respective leaderships are expected before the parties reconvene.

In recent media appearances, Araqchi indicated that a draft of a potential nuclear agreement could be finalized within days. He characterized recent discussions in Geneva as productive, noting that both sides had agreed on a set of guiding principles. Iranian officials are reportedly preparing a draft text for presentation to the U.S. Negotiating team.

In his conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Araqchi received assurances of Moscow's support for the negotiation process aimed at achieving fair solutions that respect Iran's legitimate rights.

The discussion with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty focused on the latest developments in the indirect Tehran-Washington talks. Araqchi emphasized the necessity of formulating a draft agenda grounded in mutual respect and shared interests. Abdelatty welcomed the continued diplomatic engagement, stressing the importance of further consultations to advance the talks toward an acceptable framework for all involved parties.

Araqchi also spoke with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani. The two diplomats reviewed the current status of negotiations between Iran and the U.S., alongside broader regional and international issues. They underscored the need for sustained consultations to support diplomatic efforts within a framework of regional cooperation.
