Iran Withdraws from 2026 FIFA World Cup Following Leader's Death

The Iranian Ministry of Sport has announced the withdrawal of its national football team from the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. The decision is a direct consequence of recent dramatic events in the country and the wider region.
